Within every breakdown lies the seeds to a more glorious breakthrough.  It all comes down to context.

If I operate from a context of “Life does not work” then every breakdown only serves as evidence to validate my underlying assumption.  Within the context that “life does not work” it’s a struggle to find a new pathway forward.

When I operate from a context that “Life Does Not Work”  breakdowns are viewed as a sign of failure brining up associated feelings of frustration, shame, and hopelessness.     When I operate from a context that “Life Works” the breakdown is not viewed as a breakdown instead I am drawn to the situation with passion and enthusiasm to find a pathway forward.

It is a matter of curiosity or contempt.  Curiosity breeds exploration.  Contempt breeds self loathing and condemnation.  Within the operating principle of curiosity the breakdown becomes a platform for learning that could be shared with others.   When operating from contempt the breakdown needs to be hidden from view.  When the breakdowns are finally acknowledged people tend to blame themselves or others resulting in being consumed with the breakdown and no clear pathway forward.

So if the breakdowns in our lives tend to trigger us then lets use that as a signal that we are operating from an underlying context that is undermining our future.  To be able to acknowledge that which drives us to see what we see is true insight.  This insight is possible due to the willingness to explore.

The willingness to explore is driven by an underlying context of workability.  What about the possibility that, in truth, every breakdown is simply a breakthrough in disguise.  Like going on a treasure hunt.  I know there is treasure in them darn hills – it will be a grand adventure of discovery.
